Overview
OpenFin provides a number of features that enable you to control access to the OpenFin and Application logs. An overview of the standard OpenFin logging is available in our OpenFin Logging article.
Application Log Management
OpenFin can be configured so that logging actions performed by your application are separated from logging performed by the OpenFin Runtime. Enabling application logging allows you to leverage the OpenFin Log Management feature. Once set up, the OpenFin Log Management feature provides the ability to programmatically send encrypted application logs to an OpenFin endpoint, which you can then download using the Log Management CLI.

Programmatic Runtime Log Control
The OpenFin API proves methods that enable you to programmatically control the logging level and retrieve the content of an OpenFin Runtime log which can be used for further processing (such as sending back to your own log repository). The API methods include:
