64-Bit Support

Overview

The OpenFin Runtime version has 32-bit and 64-bit builds available.  The OpenFin Runtime Version Manager will detect the O/S version and download the correct version.

Installation

RVM

When an OpenFin application is launched, if the required Runtime version is not available on the local system, the Runtime Version Manager (RVM)* will detect if the O/S version and download the matching Runtime Build.

*From RVM version 3.8.1.0, older versions will download a 32-bit Runtime

Manual Download

Both 64-bit and 32-bit variants of the Runtime are available from our Runtime Versions page.  From the 'download' column, use the x86 link to download the 32-bit build, or x64 link to download the 64-bit build of any Runtime version.
