The entry point for an application running on OpenFin is the Runtime Version Manager (RVM), the RVM is responsible for managing the OpenFin runtimes, application assets and bootstrapping the application.
The RVM creates a single* log file named rvm.log located in:
*Version 188.8.131.52 and earlier created 3 separate log files
The rvm.log file contains messages generated by the RVM only, which controls the application launch. Application error generated while the application is running will be written to the Runtime debug log.
INFO- StatusCode: 404
The target server could be reached and returned an HTTP 404 code - 'Not Found', indicating the requested page could not be found. The owner of the URL should be contacted to validate the URL is correct. If the target server is owned by OpenFin please contact email@example.com.
ERROR- Failed on HttpQueryInfo() - Error Code: 12150 - Error Text: The requested header was not found
This error can be generated after the server returns 'StatusCode: 404' for a request.
ERROR- Failed on HttpSendRequest() - Error Code: 12029 - Error Text: A connection with the server could not be established
The target server could not be reached.
The URL can be tested in a standard browser, if the URL works in a browser, retest loading the URL in OpenFin (re-attempt launching the application) as the problem may have been temporary if the second attempt with OpenFin is successful please contact the URL owner to inform them of the temporary outage. The RVM uses the local O/S network settings if the second attempt with OpenFin fails then a comparison of the browsers network settings with the O/S default should be made followed by a check of any local security software.
If the URL can't be reached using the browser then the owner of the URL/application should be contacted to confirm it is valid, and the server is operational. If the URL is valid and the server is confirmed as running (and ideally if connectivity can be established from a different network location), then the network path from the local machine to the server needs to be investigated.
